Below is a step-by-step process designed to make your condo-buying process easy, simple, and enjoyable.

  1. Be Informed:

    All prospective buyers should read the North Carolina Association of Realtors' Working with Real Estate Agents and the North Carolina Real Estate Commission's Condo Buying FAQ.

  2. Assess your Credit and Finances:

    Getting pre-qualified by a lending institution is a simple process. If you would like advice for where to seek lending, we can help! We request all prospective buyers be pre-qualified.

  3. Choose the Unit that Fits You:

    Envision walking through the renderings, arrange your furniture as you inspect the floor plans, and settle upon which unit you would like to be yours. Have questions? Let us know!

  4. Submit an Offer:

    A deposit of $1,000.00 is required for the purchase agreement. After submitting your signed agreement and deposit, you will have seven days to continue reviewing your decision.

    If for any reason you decide not to purchase at Minerva Condos during the seven day grace period, you may cancel your offer and have your full deposit returned immediately and with no penalty. You may also change your unit selection free-of-charge during this seven day grace period, subject to availability.

    After the grace period, your signed purchase agreement and deposit will be held until construction starts, to be no later than the targeted construction start date in your contract. If construction has not begun by by the targeted construction start date, you will have the option to have your purchase agreement canceled and your full deposit returned immediately. When construction begins, an additional deposit of $1,500.00 will be required.

  5. Begin the Lending Process:

    Minerva Condos' experienced sales staff can help you secure a mortgage from the region's most reputable lenders.

  6. Closing:

    Insurance, inspections, contracts. Minerva Condos or your buyer's agent can help you through this process.

  7. Move Into Your New Home:

    Hire a moving company, bribe your friends, or start decorating from scratch!
